What gives me my fighting spirit:
I was extremely overweight from 5th through 7th grade. I motivated and challenged myself to eat better and do something about it. My brother and I ran 3 miles everyday over the summer before 8th grade and I lost 15lbs. Ever since then, I began improving my diet and getting into training. I promised myself that I would never go back, overcoming my depression and anxiety over the way I felt about myself. My "never rest, never settle" mentality that developed from this experience gives me the strength to keep improving and help others!
