Trainer/Staff Bio
I grew up practicing traditional Shotokan Karate and ITF Taekwondo. When I moved to Orlando to finish my bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at UCF, I began to train in other styles of martial arts such as BJJ, Muay Thai, Judo, Capoeira, Escrima, etc. Over the years, I have competed in a number of international tournaments, and even got the chance to compete in an amateur ring fight. As a black belt in Karate, I am also a Chief Instructor for a martial arts school, teaching and coaching for students of all ages. My focus at TITLE Boxing Club is on the strength and conditioning aspect of training and working to get stronger together. I love fast-paced and explosive training, I love doing something different every time. I believe that training should be hard, fun, and rewarding all at the same time. I believe in the “sweat, smile, learn” principle.
I love competition; I consider myself a very competitive person. I believe that in competition there are no winners or losers – there is winning, and learning. I see training as a way to compete against yourself, and to become the very best version you can achieve. Besides training almost every day, I enjoy video games, movies, and hanging out with my cats.
