Trainer/Staff Bio
Michael is a coach at TITLE Boxing Club Oakland. He has been training in different styles of martial arts for 12 years. Those martial arts include Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Jujitsu, Wrestling, and more. Along with his training, he is also an amateur MMA fighter. Michael enjoys movies, music, traveling, and anything nerd-related, and is a huge foodie on his cheat days.

If you train hard, the fight’s going to be easy. If you train easy, the fight’s going to be hard.

My why:
I love to connect with people through martial arts because fighting is my passion. To share my knowledge and love for the sport means that I get to share a piece of myself with you. When I see members throw kicks and punches with proper form after taking my class, it’s so fufilling and makes me proud.
What gives me my fighting spirit:
Leveling up. I always strive to be better than the version of myself from yesterday. Even in failure there’s always something to learn, to gain. That’s why I keep going, that’s why I keep fighting.
Trainer/Staff Bio
Galia is a boxing and kickboxing coach at TITLE Boxing Club Oakland and has been practicing various styles of martial arts, combat sports, and yoga for 10+ years. She started boxing at TITLE in 2016 and is thrilled to be part of the team. Galia also trains in Muay Thai and enjoys surfing, open water swimming, weight lifting, hiking, and camping.

Gilbert is a coach at TITLE Boxing Club Oakland. He competed as a professional boxer and has over 20 years’ experience in the game. His skillful, yet electrifying personality in & out of the ring is a motivating factor that is undeniable – over 10 years of member experience is social proof. He welcomes the community to his corner at TITLE Boxing Club.

Byron is the Lead Trainer at TITLE Boxing Club Oakland. Actively, he has been involved in fitness for over 10 years. He is knowledgeable and passionate about boxing. His upbeat style motivates each member to reach personal goals. He has a sense of community and welcomes everyone.

TITLE Boxing Club Oakland Central Owner Bio
Owner Ron is a 23-year employee of the federal government. He first started learning the sport of boxing in 2009 as a customer at King’s Boxing Gym in Oakland. He’s a true believer in boxing training as a means towards improving one’s physical, mental, and emotional health, all while having fun. He would like all members of TITLE Boxing Club Oakland to see the club as their “home away from home” and a refuge from the trials and tribulations of everyday life. He graduated from U.C. Santa Barbara in 1998 with a B.A. in Political Science and from Rutgers University in 2001 with a Masters in Public Policy.
